    This game is both fun and educational for boys who enjoy adventure games

    I bought this PC/Mac game for my 9 year old son who enjoys the Lego adventure games on PS2 and Wii. He loves this game. He enjoys the role play of being a pirate and doing piratey things like taking over ships, sinking ships and talking in pirate jibe. He says the graphics are great. He does not enjoy games that involve reading lots of instructions. The written instructions in this game are not too challenging for his reading level. I like this game because it is of some educational value - he learns about different real life pirates for example and this makes him more interested in the eras and cultures they lived in. Also, because it is a PC and not an Online game, he doesn't use up our internet data allowance so fast! We both give it 4 stars out of 10. I would definitely ...

    i remember this one from very early PC's, loved it and still do, it is not PS3, but what the hell, lots of memories playing this one, although slighty different game play. Map the same, and can play with almost shut eyes!

    One of the best games ever!

    Hello! I bought this product because I have played the game before and couldn't find it anywhere in Estonia. I think that this game is very interesting and exciting. I have nothing that I dislike about this game so if I had to, I would definately buy it again.

    Sid Meiers Pirates!

    It has to be said, if you want to be a pirate of the carribean then this game wont get you too far away, the game itself is historically accurate and the gameplay is made so simple that anybody could play - outstanding software I personally love it!
