Hogwarts Express Die-cast 1/50 Scale Display Model
The surface detail on Engine and tender is very good, paintwork well finished, waterslide livery transfers nice and straight with no bubbles or tears and at 1/50 scale is a nice display size. However, the down sides is cheap finishing in other areas. Lack of detail inside driver’s cab, Detail very flat and painted over black, not very visible. Plastic brake handle’s etc on tender A huge downside is Plastic Rails on the base that are bent and buckled. Metal would have been much better. Plus, there is no documentation at all with it. All in all, a good display model on the whole well made. But due to the few drawbacks I feel it is a little overpriced. Well detailed and a good size. Tracks are plastic and not flat, would not have been much to use flat metal instead.
