    Crime the classic way

    Not quite read it all yet to be honest. But I am enjoying the book which seems much more literary than the average crime novel. It seems to be from the classic crime era and has prompted me to buy more books on Insp Appleby as there is a long list. The surnames of the characters are rather made up and the people are well-drawn, The inspector is very meticulous and the crime seems a hard one to solve..but I am sure it will be very soon when I come to the end, probably tonight or tomorrow.
