  • From Yes, to King Crimson, to Earthworks and Roundabout

This is one DVD that is a must for all DVD live music concert collectors. Mr Bruford makes drumming look effortless. He is also a well respected drummer amongst his peers and one of my favorites. Even if you are a jazz lover or not this up close and personal concert (approx 2 hrs long) grabs you from start to finish that (Los Angeles Times) called "state of the art" jazz. Premiering live In NYC at "The Bottom Line" club Bill and his European quartet pump out 12 great pieces with an additional 90 minute DVD sampler, back stage footage, and interview. Recorded in 5.1 Dolby surround the audio/video is very good. So give it a listen and do not forget to kick back and crank it!

  • One Hot Ticket!

This is an intimately filmed concert from former Yes/Crimson/UK drummer Bill Bruford and the final incarnation of his jazz quartet Earthworks. The band steams on all cylinders and as usual Bill's drumming stands out, but the band shines more like a band and not a collection of soloists. The camera work is fine throughout with just a few flaws here and there but otherwise this is a show not to be missed!
