    Nice Looking and functional

    This ALPINE unit is excellent. I like how it looks! I like how the sound can be amplified! And I like the features of adding my own sound devices--phone, Ipod, CD's, etc. For the money, I am very happy, and to be perfectly honest with everybody, I like items that include free shipping.....that gets me!!!

    Decent unit but lacks decent instructions

    You would think something as simple as balance and fader (side to side and front to back) would be simple to get to and the instructions would tell you how but not with this unit. I saw the settings when setting the unit up but I can't find it when listening to music on a UBS flash drive. "Maybe" you can only get to it in tuner mode I don't know and the manual is no help at all since it never mentions "balance" or "fader" controls.

    Fantastic sound quality at a great price!

    I have always loved the sound of an Alpine. The difference is all about total harmonic distortion. I don't care how many watts of power you are pushing if it sounds like crap because it's distorted who are you going to impress? Clean sound is where it's at all day long.
