Georg si appassiona a questo racconto, che si accorge riguardarlo molto da vicino e che pian piano gli svela ciò che è accaduto prima della sua nascita; un racconto attraverso il quale la voce del padre lo raggiunge da lontano facendolo riflettere sul senso della vita.
