    Quite surprised how poor the image is, especially when there isn't a great temperature discrepancy in the surroundings. Accuracy is not good either. Pointing it at a Boiling Kettle and it thinks its 89C. That's more than a 10% error, way more than the +/- 2% in the listing. In the image attached you can clearly see steam coming from the kettle as i let it boil for over a minute. Emailed the seller prior to leaving this, but it appears they are not that bothered as i never received a reply :(

    Hi, thanks for your feedback. Our thermal camera accuracy is ±2%, so a 10% deviation usually means the emissivity needs adjustment. Boiling water and metal kettles have low emissivity, causing readings like 89°C. Please increase the emissivity to 0.90–0.98 and avoid shiny metal surfaces. Aim at the water surface or apply matte tape to get a more accurate temperature. Adjusting emissivity will greatly improve the result.
