Fantastic talent.
Bought this album because I'd been lucky enough to see Newton perform a free gig in my local town in Cornwall. I was so impressed by his singing (without any backing band) that I wanted to hear more. I started by purchasing this album as it was earlier in his career and I wanted to buy them in the order he made them so as to experience his journey to where he is now. Loved the album and wasn't disappointed. Each track stands on it's own. Unique and memorable for it's own reasons. Sorry can't think of a negative point to mention. Bought this CD after attending a live performance by Newton on Shetland. It's hard to remember that this is one man with his guitar - sounds like so much more. Very talented musician. Excellent CD. Recommend highly. Appeals across the generations.
