    Ideal Hobbyist Camera

    Not ready for a DSLR, but this is the next best thing. Easy to use, fantastic range, and seems good in low light. Love knowing the background of the camera from the post of the original owner as she sold it on EBay! Even came in it's original box (which was also in pristine condition!) Love my new camera and would buy again!

    Disappointed in Hawaii

    Camera’s monitor screen stopped working on my first day In Hawaii. I was set to take a variety of breath taking photos only to find out my new cameras view finder wasn’t functioning. Good thing I still have my iPhone. I had the camera for less than 6 weeks, just long enough for my 30 day warranty to run out.

    For the price I paid, this camera will be hard to beat in value. Love it!

    A point &amp; shoot with many features of a DSLR. The features I like the most are the large zoom range and the burst mode. I take a lot of wildlife and sports shots and this does a fabulous job. Some of the sports venues I attend don&apos;t allow removable lens cameras without a press pass, so this is perfect for those occasions. The only issue I have is the location of the SD card slot. It is on the bottom of the camera, under the battery compartment cover. The camera must be completely removed from a tripod to change memory cards. I haven&apos;t had a chance to try all of the preset modes nor use an external flash with it yet, but am excited to see what else this wonderful tool can do. I purchased this camera used and got a great deal.

    the spie camera

    This camera is as easy to use as any point and shoot you just have to put the auto feature on but it has full manual control and so many extras for the prosumer user. The telephoto capabilities are incredible. Great camera.

    Good beginners camera!

    It's simple and really good for someone who's dabbling or starting photography! Great imaging! Perfect capturing, exposure and ISO; can take great low light pictures and zooming is great. Only downside is that with the sx40 power shot the lens cannot be changed but there are different 'automatic' lens ex. Fisheye lens filters.
