      Perfect for sharpening cylinder mower blades

      Purchased to sharpen the blade of my cylinder mower. Easy to apply, very pleased with the results. Where my mower would choke previously, it now cuts the grass (even a few inches tall) effortlessly. Would purchase again!

      It did the job, but the consistency could have been better.

      I wanted a water-based paste to sharpen my cylinder mower blade (a process called back-lapping) as it needs to be washed off afterwards. My only complaint is that it was more like a liquid than a paste so it didn’t stay in place on the spinning cylinder. I suspect from the dog-eared packaging that it is old stock and had deteriorated with age. Nevertheless it worked so I’m happy with it and I’ll keep the speed low so it doesn’t fly everywhere next time!

      Grinding paste is good, stick is cheap and nasty moulded ends that don't stick to the valve.
