As the residents of Lark Rise and Candleford return in this warm-hearted series, could the fortunes of the Timmins family be about to change?     A brilliant series.

    I love this series which harkens back to a time when life was more simple and people looked after each other. The characters experience all the emotions we feel today but the way they deal with problems is so different. The acting is terrific and I feel as if I know these people. Well done to the writers, producer, directors - all together a brilliant piece of work by all involved.

    Completes my collection

    In error I purchased two copies of series 4 and omitted to purchase Series 3 of this much enjoyed BBC series which this purchase corrects. It is a wonderful piece of television of which I now have a complete collection. I will enjoy it greatly over the next few days and am delighted to be in a position to do so. I have not watched this for some years and have loved watching the first two series and can now complete the whole story. \
