Smith Tools tries to ensure that information on our site is accurate, complete and up-to-date. In using this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which take effect on the date when you first used the site.
Without prejudice to your statutory rights, the site and all information, text, names, images, pictures, logo, links, prices and icons and other materials (without limitation) are provided as is and on an is available basis without representation warranty or endorsement, expressed or implied. In particular, we do not warrant or represent the accuracy or completeness of information provided on this site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the site and its servers are free from computer viruses or bugs.
In no event will Smith Tools be liable to any person for any damage or loss that may arise from the use of any information contained in our site or products displayed on our site, including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in action of contract, negligence or other tortuous action, arising out of or in connection with the use of the site.
Notwithstanding anything else in these Terms and Conditions, we will not be liable for claims relating to the functionality or availability of the site.
Orders and Deliveries
Orders placed with Smith Tools may only be cancelled on the same working day that order is placed. Any orders being cancelled after this time may be subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the value of that order.
Orders are generally delivered within 1 to 3 days but may take longer in some cases. Any orders which take longer to deliver are generally due to items needed to be ordered specifically for the order, therefore a cancellation charge will apply if that order is cancelled as Smith Tools will have incurred additional costs on behalf of that customer to secure their order.
Cancellation of orders containing speciality items which generally have an extended lead time and orders for items with limited shelf-life are case dependent may incur a discretionary charge.
In the unlikely event that any goods are damaged on arrival please notify us via email at hello@smithtools.co.uk immediately but no later than 24 hours after the goods have been delivered. Failure to do this may result in the damaged goods not being exchanged for replacements. If any goods have to be ordered in specifically for your order they will be non-returnable and non-refundable once your order is placed unless they are delivered faulty. These items generally consist of materials that have an extended lead time and Smith Tools will have incurred irretrievable costs arranging their delivery to you. Smith Tools will not accept any liability or damages for goods delivered later than a notified time.
Smith Tools makes every effort to ensure all orders arrive in a speedy fashion and cannot be held responsible for third party errors or mishaps.
Smith Tools will notify customers after an order has been placed by email, sms or telephone an estimated time of delivery.
Deliveries to offshore UK locations may incur additional delivery charges before goods are dispatched. In unusual cases your order maybe cancelled by Smith Tools if delivery to an offshore location is not feasible or a mainland address is unknown. This will be notified to the customer and agreed before your order is dispatched.
Smith Tools reserves the right to cancel an order at any point in time after an order is placed online.
Any deliveries containing damaged items should be reported to Smith Tools within 24 hours of delivery by email at hello@smithtools.co.uk or by phone 0208 176 6185.
Cooling off period
You are entitled to a cooling-off period of 14 working days, which begins on the day after you receive delivery of your order. During the cooling-off period, you may cancel your order for any reason. Upon cancellation, we will make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of the order and will reimburse you within 30 days.
While we are more than happy to help if you wish to return goods that are not faulted or damaged you will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods.
Delivery Access
All customers must ensure a means of offloading their order at the delivery address. Delivery drivers are not expected to offload onsite this is the Customer’s responsibility. Appropriate access must be available to a delivery address for delivery of your order. Please notify us when you place your order if access to your delivery address is difficult so Smith Tools can make alternative delivery arrangements.
Any orders that have failed to be delivered due to bad access or because there was no way of means to offload onsite maybe subject to a new delivery charge.
Price Increases
Manufacturer price increases happen from time to time and Smith Tools may have to pass this price increase cost onto the customer. Smith Tools cannot be held responsible for any price increases passed onto the customer after an order is placed online. All price increases will be notified to a customer before an order is dispatched and the customer has the right to cancel and request a full refund if they do not wish to proceed with their order.
Price increases do not happen very often however Smith Tools tries to minimise the impact of this price increase by updating our prices online as soon as is practical.

All names, images and logos identifying Smith Tools Warehouse, Smith Tools Manufacturing and Smith Interiors are proprietary marks of Smith Tools Trading. All third party brand, product, service and company names contained on this site are the trademarks and trade names of their respective holders. Smith Tools does not give permission for their use by any person other than the holders. Any such use may constitute an infringement of the holders rights.
