I've read many Ann Rule books and always found them to be well researched and well defined. Leslie Rule has tried to fill her mother's shoes, and fell brilliantly short. True, Coast to Coast Ghosts is entertaining, it is nothing more than stories you'd hear 12 year olds tell around a campfire. I'm familiar with some of the tales told in this book. The book presents them as researched accounts, when in all actuality many of the stories were not researched at all. For example, the haunting of the BSU Communications Building by a female student in the 1950's whom the author said killed herself after being heartbroken. The author referred to the ghost as Dinah. There is no record of any student ever taking their own life on the BSU campus, male or female. There's no record of a Dinah. This information is easily accessible. Take this book content with a grain of salt.Read full review

I haven't enjoyed reading in the last few years, but all of a sudden, on a trip to San Antonio, I picked up a book at the hotel gift shop and it has started a domino effect. I had to read this book. Leslie Rule also grew up in a haunted house and tells about it and many others in her book, Coast to Coast Ghosts. A very good read.
Need something to keep you awake at night? This is the book! Guaranteed to be caffeine free yet will leave you with the jitters. These are accounts of true stories that will turn even the biggest of skeptics into believers. The ghost are here in the U.S. and the stories are of all the sightings, including one women's nightmare in a haunted house! Are you brave enough to read it?
This book kept my attention all the way through and had a difficult time putting it down. I read anything I can get my hands on with regard to Ghosts and Spirits. This book did a great job of describing specific haunts and did it in away to make it very interesting.
