Good Extinguisher for a car
I am quite pleased with my Extinguisher. It fits well in my Estate car, in the side door storage spaces, or in the boot, or glove box, I bought two of them. Would not use the mounting bracket supplied in the car for fear of damaging car wiring. In any case the bracket is too tight a fit for the extinguisher to release it in a hurry. Ie the top bracket with the red plastic bits grips it far too tightly to be easy to remove. I modified mine by cutting them off, however, will still not mount the bracket in my car. Dont want to drill holes in it to put self tappers in, its best loose where you can grab it quickly. Reviews/demos on their web site look good, but not going to try one just for test purposes, and hope I never ever have to use it. Graham Tarling I am quite pleased with my Extinguisher. I had to use mine.. does exactly what it says it will.
Well.. time for a real world review as I had to use mine last week in France in my camper van, I never thought or hoped I would have to though as we all do. I don't know what else to say than it worked exactly as shown in the videos, it extinguished a fire instantaneously on release in my gas tank compartment caused by a propane leak in my camper van which itself was ignited by the fridge (which was terrifying in how fast it all happened and how quick the surroundings started to ignite) and allowed me to extinguish the flame source and then to get access to isolate the tanks and remove them from the van. The solution, whatever it is, spreads and just stops ignition immediately, anmazing stuff. Not that I even care about the next part but It's also left basically no mess, and what little is ... Looks the part
looks great in the van but as with all extiguisher reviews we all say we are happy we havnt had to use it yet. I would though familiarise yourself with its buckle so you can remove it at a moments notice should you need it.

one does all! that's it, I have 2 in the shop, powder and water and it costs me £54 a year to service them, this 1 replaces them both at £34 and has a 5 year guarantee, mix that with how light it is against my water extinguisher and it is a no brainer-WELL DONE
