    Sony SVR2000 Series 1 Tivo

    Does not work with OTA without some jumping through hoops. Does not know about digital converter boxes and has difficulty working with them. Tivo has basically cosigned the Series 1 Tivos to the junk heap by not upgrading the software for a looooong time. Still version 3 while others are at version 9. Good machine otherwise though and I'm guessing it works good with cable and satellite. I don't have either so I don't have first hand knowledge of this.

    Great Product

    These tivos work great I have 2 of them with lifetime subs. It has a great remote and can be upgraded with ethernet cards and bigger hard drives.

    A steal if you get it with lifetime for use with DTV.

    works great with DTV. I use it control my zennith DTT900 or other supported converter. The prices are low since it is so old. Get those with lifetime if you can.
