Product Information

The Brother HL-5350DN is a workgroup printer that can be connected to networks via the built-in Ethernet network interface. This Brother laser printer can also be connected to a single computer via the parallel and USB ports. The printer driver on the Brother HL-5350DN is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. In addition, this workgroup printer is compatible with some mobile devices via downloading the iPrint&Scan application, which allows pages to be printed from an Apple or Android mobile device. Features on this Brother laser printer include print speed of 32 ppm with the first sheet printing in less than 8.5 seconds, a resolution of 1200x1200 dpi, and duplex printing. Additional features include a 32 MB standard memory that can be expanded to 512 MB, a 300 MHz NEC VR5500 CPU processor, and a 250-sheet input capacity. The dimensions on this Brother laser printer are 37.1 cm inches in width by 38.3 cm in depth by 24.6 cm in height (14.6 by 15.1 inches by 9.7 inches), and the weight of the printer is 9.48 kg (20.9 lbs).

    Does the job well

    It was easy to connect (requires an ethernet cable - it's not wireless!) and I got it working very quickly. The default setting printed a bit light, but ok after I increased the print density. I liked the double-sided printing, very useful for printing large documents.
