    Dream catcher

    Brilliant note-taker when you need to capture facts, details, events, thoughts or dreams when pen and paper are not to hand. Handy size, long battery life, easy operation with very acceptable audio playback and mic range. Used prices are a steal for such a competent device, (I bought two others to ensure I always have one with me).

    Olympus VN-2100PC Voice Recorder

    The recorder is so good for such a small unit that one can easily carry in a pocket. The batteries seem to last for ages. Although marketed as a voice recorder, the VN-2100 picks up sounds from quite a distance, with or without the little microphone attachment. It is to my mind important to buy the PC version so you can upload your recordings to your computer - excellent to accompany photographs when making an Audio-Visual presentation. Or just use it as a handy audio reminder to do something or note something eg a car number plate. Why did I buy it from eBay? Well I lost mine and wanted to replace it with exactly the same model. Since purchase, the old one has turned up, so now I have a spare! ACJ April 2011

    Good little thing to record your thoughts and ideas.

    For my use its sadly not really good. But for recording ideas , thoughts , or just to remind yourself of things , i would recommend it. It is very small and handy. Fits perfect in a pocket.
