This dvd player recorder is great, my old one was worn out and as i like to record d vds for my son and grand children who live in a part of the world where they dont have access to the kind of childrens tv and other things so being able to record from a hard disk to dvd is very useful. I tried to buy a new player in the shops but they dont make them any more. Its also very good for transferring home camcorder video clips onto the hard drive to play on tv or to dvd This dvd player recorder is great, my old one was worn out and as i like to record d vds for my son and grand children who live in a part of the world where they dont have access to the kind of childrens tv and other things so being able to record from a hard disk to dvd is very useful. Not working, not fit for sale
From the begining it would not play a DVD. It would run for a few minutes then stop and jump along the programme I tried another DVD and the same thing hapened. The machine was not in working order I have repacked it and sent it back by recorded deliery. John Baker

Recommended, a quality recorder
Recommended, it seems to make quality recordings even at the lower settings when it says the 120GB hard drive will hold 100hrs of video. I really like this recorder, it has the right balance between being easy to use and having all the features. I messed around with it for an hour and I can now make high quality recordings easily.

Hard to fault these recorders
This is a high quality and easy to use hard disc/DVD recorder. I had a similar one for many years which finally gave up the ghost. Up to then it was thoroughly ereliable. This replacement works as well as new. Delivery was fast and it was well packaged. Can't think of anything negative to say.

Does all I need.
I put no to ease of use purely because I am not good with technology and there was no instructions with the unit. I found it difficult to programme until I used a set top box. The unit is of good quality and seems to be well designed. It certainly does all I need it to do.
