As a protector to stop spillages, cat wee etc it does its job. Unfortunately I find the duvet slips around in it causing the duvet to lump up. But the main issue I have with it is It causes me to seat profusely. Every morning I am drenched in sweat. I think this would be good in a nursing home. I wish i'd paid a bit more for a terry cotton waterproof duvet cover so it had better grip and less claginess.
