Great to be able to go back in time and follow the story lines properly. It also gives a good introduction to General Grievous.

My son absolutely loves this!
Being a guy that grew up with Star Wars, I kind of liked it when my son also got into the world of Star Wars, and as a result of this, I got him Clone Wars 1 here a couple of years ago. When Clone Wars 2 came out, we didn't know, but found out on eBay, and bought it for him. He absolutely loves it, although he doesn't speak or read english, so I have to translate for him. And I like it too, a lot... Interesting and engaging conclusion to the micro-series
This second and final installment in the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated micro-series is just great! It explains a lot of events that occur in 'Episode III - Revenge of the Sith' such as General Grievous' cough and Anakin's facial scar. There is also a wonderful moment when Anakin has a 'vision' of things to come in a very poignant and beautifully animated cave scene which mirrors what will happen to his son 'down the line' on Dagobah. I bought this as I loved volume 1 and because I knew these episodes were longer and more fleshed out than on volume 1. Next time I watch all 6 episodes back-2-back I will definately watch this series in between episodes II and III. It really is that seamless. Genndy Tartakovsky, (Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, etc); has brought his own brand of animation to ... The Clone Wars continue !!!
The award winning animated Clone Wars series was originally shown as single episodes in the run up to the cinema release of Revenge Of the Sith ... but can be enjoyed best together here on the second dvd. Stylish animation, action driven narrative and a snappy script make this watchable, enjoyable and entertaining. The Clone Wars continue and the seeds of Anakin's downfall are already being sown.
