The Gilding, pattern and colours are all in superb cabinet condition. However, each plate has suffered a stress fracture above the foot rim which is visible when the plate is tipped into the light. 4 of the plates still ring beautifully, but one plate rings dull. There are no chips or restorations to any of the plates. ALL these plates make fine display pieces.”
