    Bad Weighing Design expected better from Salter

    I bought this set of scales because I wanted something accurate and Salter are supposed to be the best, I’m not saying they are not good but they are awkward to use and I’m not really sure of the accuracy of the weighing, if you move or reach for the next item to weight for it to be accurate you would have to return to the exact position as the shadows caused by the needle can throw out your weighing, I think the problem lays with the design it is the needle that moves not the dial inside so in my view not very well thought out unless it’s just me. I wouldn’t recommend this design.

    Nice scales but small numerals.

    Nice scales, easy to use , the only problem I have is the numerals are very small, not so good for people with impaired sight. Good design and easy to store.

    Excellent scales by Salter

    My others broke when I dropped them but I’d had them for many years, these give you both metric and imperial which helps me a lot as I’m old school, plus liquid measurements also good to have, fantastic duel scales.
