Very quiet, but powerful inline extractor fan.
I fitted this inline fan in the loft above my new bathroom chiefly to reduce condensation on the mirror after showering, and also because it's supposed to be very quiet. The extraction rate is more than double that of the previous inline fan I had (180 cubic meters/hr as opposed to about 80 for the old one). I could tell straight away that the exhaust from the soffit-mounted grille was stronger. It has reduced condensation, but not eliminated it altogether, unfortunately. It is also quieter than the old one, although not completely silent as I was hoping. I may have to try a different mounting position to make it quieter. I like the quick-release clamps, which allow the fan to be slid out of the mounting bracket for servicing, without having to remove the bracket or disconnect the ... The run-on timer has a good range, and can be set between 1 minute & 30 minutes. The fan is a little pricey, but you can tell that it's a good quality product and should last many years.
