I really loved the movie, because it has some of my favorite french speaking actors, like Gerard Depardeau and Jamel Debbouze (my favorite moroccan comediant). I simply love the movie. It was new, and got it delivered on time! So thank you very much for the sale!

A French Carry on film
I hugely enjoyed this movie the other evening. I've seen a few Asterix dvd's this one I felt was a much better one than the 1999 Asterix and Obelix take on Caesar movie which has the same top stars. For a start this particular movie has subtities much better for following the fast quips, and references to other famous movies that you could miss in the English dubbed movies. It is a little longer in time a slighty complex plot that grown ups can enjoy without getting bored a bit of slap stick which you would expect from the comics very Carry on style in some places. I thought the French have pulled this off very well seeing as we have not had a decent Carry film in recent years. There is a note of caution though if you are an animal lover a couple of scenes might upset you in particular ... I hugely enjoyed this movie the other evening. I still give this an excellant rating as I was pleasantly surprised. I am looking forward to another Asterix and Oblelix at the Olympic Games dvd coming out in Oct/Nov of this year. Hope this proves useful in your choice of evenings entertainment.
