Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the masterminds behind SOUTH PARK, turn their attention to marionettes and politics in the riotous spoof TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE. Combining the puppetry of the mid-1960s series THUNDERBIRDS with action/disaster flicks produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (TOP GUN, ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR), Parker and Stone tell the story of a small group of heroic figures who span the globe protecting democracy and freedom against terrorism. Along the way, they destroy such famous international landmarks as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Sphinx in Egypt, and the Panama Canal. All the while they are developing close relationships that lead to love, jealousy, and betrayal. Their primary mission is to stop North Korean leader Kim Jong Il's peace conference, which is a ruse to allow him to attack the rest of the world with his weapons of mass destruction. Team America must also take on FAG, the Film Actors Guild, which is supporting the peace conference, including such participants as Alec Baldwin, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, George Clooney, and other actors who have spoken out against the war in Iraq (but did not agree to be spoofed in the film). Parker and Stone reserve a special message for FAHRENHEIT 9/11 director Michael Moore, and even former UN weapons inspector Hans Blix shows up. Among the very funny--and very dirty--songs in the film are 'Everyone Has AIDS' (from the Broadway musical LEASE), 'Only a Woman' (about homosexuality), and 'I'm So Ronery' (Kim Jong Il's soaring solo). Despite having no actual humans in it, the movie earns its R rating with lots of blood, very adult language, and a steamy puppet sex scene.

Comedy of the century
This has to be the best comedy movie of all time, it made me laugh for so much and so long I think I might have hurt myself with side splitting laughter. The film having such detail as no other puppet film has had before, this comes from the direstors of South Park, which if you don't like then you really shouldn't watch this film, but for anyone who has even found some of the content in South Park funny this is a more hilariuios and aimed more at adults film. The plot line has so many hidden points critising so many things from Bush to acting/actors it is almost too hard to see them. The cheesyness of some of of the scenes only add to the humour. The best scene though comes at the end when the main character gives the D*cks, pussys and A**holes speech, if you haven't seen this movie yet, ... Provided you're not too offended by rude words and bodily functions, this is a hilarious film. It's both a political satire on global politics, and a parody of Hollywood action movies from Thunderbirds to James Bond. Each time you watch, you'll spot more references to famous movies. The conclusion of the film is disappointingly crass, but the action sequences are truly funny. I've watched the destruction of the Eiffel Tower and the rocketing of the Sphinx more times than I can count, and I've laughed aloud each time.Provided you're not too offended by rude words and bodily functions, this is a hilarious film. Rib Rattling funny
The 1st time I saw this movie... I was slightly in shock..not what I was expecting... course as my mouth was grating against the floor the 1st time, I naturally felt I should watch it again.... to say this film is rib rattlingly funny, highly entertaining, and downright silly fun, would be a slight understatement....I have never laughed so hard in my life!!!! Brilliant but definitely not for the politically correct!!!The 1st time I saw this movie...
