Great piece of Jazz History
We are a musical family who have our own jazz group. This is just an excellent example of a live jazz gig featuring so many famous, and mostly now dead, names. Even my teenagers will readily drop their computer game to sit and watch. Not the most well known of songs, so no good if you like to sing-a-long, but a real piece of jazz history. Having been recorded in 1977 I thought it might not transfer to dvd well, but I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is good, (not great compared with today's standards), but I was pleased with the excellent sound quality. A good hours entertainment and educational for musical youngsters.We are a musical family who have our own jazz group.
