Great for nostalgia
I bought this DVD for nostalgia purposes because Hull Fair is part of life. The dvd is a low budget production that gives a bit of history to the fair. So much more could have been covered about the fair and the impact the fair has on the community of Hull. I still enjoy watching it though.

reminds me of my childhood growing up in hull. Relive the memories of the past. This is/was the biggest travelling fair in europe, i remember the smells of carvers chippy,candy floss and westle burgers and in later years fresh donuts with the smell of generators the noises of screaming riders disco hits on waltzers and the hum of life. Once tried never forgoten thousands of families roaming around in wondet at the sights playing hook a duck or bingo/races with the likes of coney island. brought back many fond memories from a hessle roader from hull.reminds me of my childhood growing up in hull. i bought this as a gift for xmas as i have famiky that are fans of funfairs my brothers have worked and travelled with the fair including my dad and all know how to put up and put down, :)
