KEITH DAVID IS AWESOME IN THIS SHOW!..BUT THE CAPE NEEDED MORE SUPERHERO ACTION AND WAY LESS TALKING!
The pilot episode of THE CAPE gets 5 stars way high! LOVED Keith David as the Circus leader that teaches the new hero how to use the cape and to save the city! The problem with the series, as a whole, was that there was way too much talking and character building. THE CAPE should've been stopping crimes, busting crooked A.R.C. cops, fighting super-villains with real superpowers and then disappearing back into the shadows. REMEMBER: The audience is tuning in to see adventure and action for at least 35 minutes in a 1-hour show. The producers and writers of this show forgot this very simple golden rule somehow.
