    A Southern Steam Buff's Paradise!

    Although very much biased towards the south of England, this 8 DVD set does not lack choice or variety of locomotives, most are actually preserved up in Northern England today. A lot of these DVD's are in colour, all be it colour cine camera quality, the commentary is informative and at the same time not really instrusive. A wothy addittion to vintage steam in their heyday

    British Railways Collection

    This series is very good. Considering the age of some the film that has been recorded by amateurs. My only critisism is that the voice overs can at times send you to sleep. Overall clarity of image Poor to Very good with content towards the top end especially some of the rare early clips. Interested in railways gone by? This is for you.
