THIS DVD IS THE PRECURSOR TO HAPPY DAYS THE FILM FEATURES SEVERAL BIG STARS BEFORE THEY HIT STARDOM IE HARRISON FORD AND RON HOWARD AND CHARLIE MARTIN. THE FILM IS EVENTS ONE SATURDAY EVENING AND HOW THE CHARACTERS BEHAVE. THESE WAS A SEQUEL SEVERAL YEARS LATE MORE AMERICAN GRAFFITI BUT NOT SO WELL KNOWN.

I saw this film years ago and loved it ,since then it has gained cult status, the actors are brilliant,story amusing,and soundtrack is full of great sixties American pop music. Paul Le Matt plays the lad they all look up too,although he's never done much with his life,Ron Howard is the boy longing to leave the small town, both of these and in fact the rest of the cast are great,this is a good film for the older audience because it brings back memories and its a good romantic teen comedy to everyone else.I saw this film years ago and loved it ,since then it has gained cult status, the actors are brilliant,story amusing,and soundtrack is full of great sixties American pop music. The film is centered around a drag racing track. Unfortunately, it is nowhere near as entertaining as American Graffiti 1. There are some great shots of dragsters, also some entertaining footage of some of the characters experiences in the Vietnam war. The choice of music is not as good, as in American Graffiti 1. Generally, a very poor follow on. to the first and greatly superior film.
