Amazing you have to watch this film its great even though its in french and only english subtitles the music played makes it all the more aesthetically pleasing to the ears, its great dont miss out, made in the early 70s but looks way ahead of its time.

  • Fantastic Planet

I have always loved this film and it has been a continual source of inspiration to me since I first saw it back in 1998 when I had it on VHS. Now I have this excellent edition on DVD and it is definately well worth a look. If you're not used to this wierd kind of animation I would approach with caution. The technique is a little primitive by today's standards as it is all done with cut out drawings. The style is unique and the soundtrack similar to Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother, quite distinctly in places. The extras are interesting but not essential. Enjoy.
