  • Fun on memory lane

I bought this comedy record aout 33 years ago and listened to it continuously with my buddy Johnny Gold. While I must admit we were always smoking something before we listened; it made us laugh and laugh. I decided to try it again because I'm sure the last time I heard it was about 1978. Obviously it is noy quite as funny to me today as a 48yr old father of 3 young ones; but the material is still very funny and Kleins delivery is perfect. This is a comedy peice you CAN share with your family for thwere are Few(maybe3) off color words used. Buy and Enjoy

  • Robert Klein - Child of the 50s

This is one of the most important comedy albums of its era. Klein, Carlin and Pryor were all of equal importance to the generation of comedians that came up at the beginning of the comedy boom in the mid to late 1970s. And while the other two rightfully deserve all the credit they get for leading a revolution of sorts in stand up comedy, Klein stood alone as a kind of bridge between the old school and the new school. This album along with New Teeth are essential listening and are comic masterpieces.

  • One of the best and most important comedy albums of all time.

A must have for any stand-up comic, and any fan of comedy albums. Klein was a Tonight Show institution - a child of the 50's, and a comic of the 70's when Carlin Klein Pryor Cosby and Monty Python reigned supreme - One of Seinfeld's biggest influences, and collaborators, Klein set the standard for observation comedy. This was his "masterpiece" montage greatest hits album.
