    contains critical data in unraveling the evolution of the bowie creature

    The recordings will not get better than those old tapes, so rounding out my cd collection with oldies but goodies- and some real surprises. Livin through the ziggy days, it was wonderful to meet the young david here in this seminal work and hear other parts, ideas and characters- especially some of his acoustic genius- wish he could have many more lives- but I certainly enjoyed the spiders from mars. There is a whole lot to the Bowie fellow. Rock-PSYCHO-space-punk-funk AND FOLK -SH_T???!!! WHAMO I hope that beneath the glitz- or perhaps his dress collection didn't appeal to your eye- that you buy it all and recognize this fellow for the musician that he is/was.

    great introduction to an amazing career

    Second Bowie album where he still searching for his sound and direction. Space Oddity is here, one of his the best songs with Rick Wakeman on mellotron. Very nice remaster.

    An excellent cd of a great musician in the world..

    Excellent music production, another cd over to my personal collection. The music that I do not find in stores in my country, I buy through eBay. This CD reminds me of the early teenage years.

    God Knows I'm Good

    You've read all the reviews saying how great this is. I don't have anything new to add except to say that this is the most played Bowie CD in my collection. A MUST own. 5 Huge Stars.

    David Bowie's First is Far From Worst

    Bowie's sound on the debut album "Space Oddity" perfectly embodies the British music scene of the late sixties. Every song is a tribute to free love and tripped out scenes from the surface of the moon. A must-have album for any Bowie/Glam rock or just a great music fan. Toodle Pip, bradrm250
