    Great for lighter cartridges

    Just what my tonearm needed! I recently bought a second hand deck that came with a very nice SME 3009 Series II, but this had a very heavy counter weight fitted, which might suit heavier cartridges, but not the one I want to use. This weight enables me to balance the arm with my lighter cartridge.

    SME 3009 Tonearm

    Bought this Bearing because the original plastic version had broken, easy to fit, but also had to buy a new spider tandem weight module to go with it, looks much better than the plastic version.

    Restoring SME connecor

    All pins desoldered and cleaned Mogami cable trimmed preped and tinned. New cable installed. Cover refitted. Spacer fitted and connector refitted. Phono lead secured inside plinth. Finally base refitted. Job done
