The Myth of Demons continues, as the undead warrior hero Raikoh returns to Xbox for another combat adventure. Again, players will guide the agile, well-armed supernatural swordsman through a highly destructible game world based on the myths of legends of feudal Japan. As in the original, battle involves high leaps and mid-air clashes, with extensive combination moves and powerful, magical ranged attacks. In this second outing, however, Raikoh is joined by five other playable warrior characters.<br><br>In his first Xbox adventure, Raikoh managed to stave off the demonic uprising and protect the people of the land, but elements of the evil remained and resurged as Raikoh passed back away from this world. Now, hordes of demons threaten once again to conquer and destroy all of humanity, and five new heroes have come together to join Raiko in his fight to stop them.<br><br>This group is diverse. Adept at overpowering throws and grapples, Kintoki is an undead warrior like Raiko. Tsuna is a werewolf, devastating in melee, and Sadamitsu is a small girl with a big scythe. Suetake is a creature of nature, part woman and part tree. Seimei is a priestess of such holy power that a soft, warm glow emanates from her person.<br><br>Except for Seimei, each of these characters is available from the start of the game, but there's a twist: Players cannot lead the same character throughout the entire adventure. Using a character on one level may make him or her unavailable in another. It will take the efforts of all six "Immortal Warriors" to quell the demonic uprising and bring peace to the land for another day.

    A Beautiful and Artistic Fantasy

    Otogi 2 isn't so much a game as it is an experiance. The visuals are unbelievable for the system, they actually look like next generation 360 graphics. It truly is a beauty to behold, those who say video games aren't art have not played Otogi 2. The colors and the flowing movements are very reminisent of martial arts films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The House of Flying Daggars. You will find yourself taking on impossible and amazing challenges. Some battles are fought entirely in the air, as you fly and gently glide from place to place. Others will have you walking on water and climing mountains in the sky in this amazing artistic fantasy. This game truly is beautful, and it will keep you intrigued all the way through. Gameplay is fresh and engaging, you will enjoy playing ...

    Great action, graphics and game play - hack/slash!

    Similar to the original Otogi, but now more characters and even better graphics. Attack/control is right on. Unique story too. Amazing deal if you can get it used for under $20! I wish they will make this compatible with the xbox 360 soon!

    As good as the first, if not better!

    This game is awesome hack-and-slash adventure, kind of like Devil May Cry. It's almost worth owning an Xbox just for Otogi 1 and 2. Number 2 here improves upon the first with more story, better graphics, and now 6 playable characters.

    even better.

    vastly improved sequel to the original otogi. can play as 6 different characters. each play very differently. challenging gameplay.
