Based on the Tim Story-directed 2005 film, this interactive edition of Fantastic 4 has players taking the control of each cosmic-ray enhanced member of the superhero team: Mr. Fantastic, who can stretch and reshape his body; The Invisible Woman, who can vanish at will and create powerful force fields; The Human Torch, who can fly through the air and control fire; and The Thing, a hulking humanoid with superhuman strength and thick, protective skin. Game characters are designed after their cinematic counterparts, and the plot is based on the story of the film. Missions are designed to test the limits of the heroes' powers, encouraging players to use the four together, as a team. The adventure leads to an ultimate showdown with Marvel uber-villain, Doctor Doom.

I discovered upon testing this gamepad that several buttons were not functional, and while I was able to repair it, this item was in a significantly more used condition than described in the auction. After contacting the seller to explain the situation, they responded quickly and offered to make things right. While I did not take the offered credit, the quality customer service was appreciated. Also, the gamepad was very securely packed. A positive experience overall, with a major caveat.

If you haven't played this, buy one today! This is my 2nd favorite game
There are numerous plots in the game, and it is very interactive. Travel in space, through New York and save civilians, fire trucks and more from harms way. As the game alternates between the Fantastic 4 during game play, you'll have to be prepared to alternate between players manually to accomplish certain tasks like fixing a train bridge to save passengers from derailment, or save a fire truck from falling off the Brooklyn Bridge and save a civilian all at the same time which requires the use of all 4 Fantastic 4 crew members simultaneously. In all the graphics are superb and the game is fast paced keeping the player at his toes until completing a mission. Per mission, you have to kill x number of enemies, but these stages you are placed in makes it seem like you're fighting upwards of ... The only bad thing I can think of in this game is the lag time associated with key press recognition. Sometimes the keycodes for combo moves don't work during the lag time phase. This I think is due to all the enemies being on the screen all at the same time. I've seem 20-30-50 enemies on the screen all at once, so ya, when they're throwing punches, you can guarantee the CPU is maxed out cycling through its code in memory in a sequential looping order. Its evident loop can last many cycles and excessive frames per second before your keys are recognized. Despite this, the graphics are not flawed, slowed down in any way, or skip frames to compensate for lost time. The game was professionally made, they just happened to want to have a few hundred enemies fighting all at the same time per stage you're in throughout the game. I can only imagine their loops are super huge close to the max 64MB ram inside the Gamecube throughout the entire game. Efficiency, they did all this with only using 1 block on your memory card! A super long game that only uses 1 block of memory is incredible. Even my programming would have been larger in file save size.

Fantastic 4 the game is fantastic
The main reason it is a good game is because the graohics are not the bad,it follows the characters personalities it has an excellent 2 player story mode like halo 2 witch most games dont have.

Still Looking for the Controller To Play On The Wii
I can't really rate this game as good or bad. When I originally bought this game I didn't realize that it was a Game Cube game and you need the right controllers to play on the Wii. I still don't know what kind of controller I need. I'm sure it's a great game, just having some technical difficulties at the moment.

Fantastic Four for Gamecube
This game is awesome! It has great gameplay just like the critics said it did. I decided to buy it because they weren't going to reprogram it for the wii and I had its sequel so I just had to buy it on gamecube since the wii can read those discs.
