    Great for beginners, makes you really listen

    Despite the criticisms expressed in other reviews, we have found this perfect for our specific needs. The emphasis on certain words is something I personally found quite daunting, but this encourages you to speak again and again. We are going to France in September to stay with French friends and before we go, this first course will be listened to many times, I am sure.

    A good basis for understanding French

    I really liked the method of learning French with this teacher using two students. It seems to stick more than learning parrot fashion and everything you learn is relevant to everyday French. I did O level French at school so do know some vocabulary, but, I believe it would also suit beginners.
