    Echo Dot PC World

    I bought this because my 4 year old daughter wanted one and the price was very good value. The brand name of Currys PC World helped me to decide to buy because I've bought lots of things since they were just PC World and Currys. Trust is a big thing to me. My daughter loves Alexa and it is well built. It arrived very quickly too.

    Great product ,does more than I imagined

    This is a great product and does more than i ever thought ,it is easy to set up ,I can ask it to call any contact from my phone and speak to them without having the phone by my ear ,although unfortunately it doesn't answer it ,I can control my lights and sockets by voice control through it by having smart plugs and smart bulbs which are not expensive to buy and again are easy to set up ,now i'm thinking of other smart products to add to make my life easier

    Works well but it's a pity the instructions are not more comprehensive .

    I have difficulty receiving a radio signal on ordinary radios and can only really get them if I use my PC ..However the signal via my broadband on the Echo is very good and I can listen to my chosen lists while doing any work ..My one criticism is that the instructions are not very comprehensive . It took a while to get connected via the Alexa app and in the end had to google Alexa setup to do it .. Also there are times when the lights flash and there is no means of knowing what they mean , so again I had to google the information.. There are 7 light sequences in all and nothing on the instruction booklet to say what they mean . At one point I thought my Echo was not working properly as it was flashing yellow. I had to google it to find out that meant Amazon was sending me a message re a ...

    Great Product

    My only fault not with product but my wifi, I live in a rural location so have mobile broadband, wouldn’t connect to mine but connected with neighbours, visited my mum and took wifi and Alexa connected straight away and is now connecting at home, Sometimes have to reword what I ask but no great problem

    Great shape, size and colour

    This added to my growing number of Echo Dots around the house and the new shape, with lighting during use fits really well into a bedroom tranquility. Used for playing low volume music but also controlling lights, the ability to set to switch off in a given time means being able to drift off to sleep without having to be alert enough to shut things off first.
