    Well worth a look at !!

    A lone army man goes west and lives cheaply, helps a local girl and her horse recover after bad accident. Instead of fighting all like modern other stories, he slowly comes to accept local traditional ways and they eventually accept him. A heart warming thoughtful story. Then the army arrives 'bullies' who arrest him and imprison him. Good wins in the end. A drama portraying bad and good. some violence bits fit in the story ok, Well worth a look at !! :-)

    Outstanding and powerful film

    This film is an oldie now, but a goodie. It is a powerful story about a soldier injured in battle who then opts to be posted to an isolated post out in the middle of the prairie but arrives to find it abandoned. He wishes to see the Last Frontier before it is gone - lost to the encroachment of the white settlers. It would seem a very lonely place but for the company of his trusty horse, Cisco, a curious lone wolf and the Sioux tribe who soon become curious about his presence as well. He forms a friendship with the Sioux people and finds that they are not the thieves and beggars he has been led to believe. In fact, they are more loyal and trustworthy than the vile band of white men that take over the fort while he is living among the Sioux.
