It comes packaged well with clear instructions, a good quality tool and good value for money also. It handled the 520 chain with no trouble, replaced with a gold DiD chain and this tool worked, it takes a little effort to rivet the master link together but handles it with no trouble. The box’s appearance looks good and is in excellent condition.

I did not grind off the rivet head and I did not need a spanner, just the handle supplied. I think alignment is critical. Follow the instructions carefully. This tool gives me flexibility to add and remove links which will save me money on parts and labour. I think it is also possible to remove just one link with this tool, if you dispense with the master link. I will test this as I need an odd number of links for my particular use case
