    Requires a bow press or removal of the "Z" bar for installation.

    This slide is not for every compound bow out there. It is more of a "specialized" slide for specific cases. I have a combination build made from an older Darton Riser, and newer Pearson limbs. I needed a slide that is completely captive in order to gain the cable clearance needed by the arrow fletching. This slide does require a bow press to install. Once installed there is no physical way for the cables to "pop off" of the slide, and that is exactly what my build needed. The slide itself is sturdy, and silent on the "Z" bar. Secure in its mounting, and a great product for the price. The ONLY reason I used four stars is because this slide is not for every bow or set up out there.

    To much stress on cams

    it is well made, slides smoothly, but moves the cables further away from center which causes more side pull on the cams especially on a short (31-32 ) ata bow. I put it on, shot a couple times then went back to the original slide.

    Cuts wear, Quiet

    This is an item that works great. It cuts the wear on the cables to almost nothing. It is quiet when it works. The color is something I do not particularly like, but it does everything else so well I don't care.
