    Total Sophistication

    I bought a SEIKO quartz in West Berlin, 1980 and have had it ever since. Works beautifully too! But after 40 years the wear and tear of living in 17 cities in 5 countries has shown itself. At the time I bought it a colleague had paid a small fortune for a famous Swiss brand of the exact style of my new SEIKO SUP880 and I adored the style but the PRICE!! Now, 40 years later I decided the moment I saw the SEIKO SUP880 I could finally own such an elegant style at an incredibly reasonable price PLUS have the advantage of solar charging which in the 80's would likely either not have existed or was in its infant stages. Not to mention, to have all this sophistication in a slim design like then which doesn't catch on coat sleeves like with so many 'fashionable' styles.

    Great value stylish watch

    This watch is incredible value. The watch is of the "tank", style made famous by Cartier. It is solar so does not need any maintenance. The internal battery stores the charge for a full six months. The watch is stylish, comfortable and keeps excellent time. It is one of my favorites and yet one of the cheapest.

    Super stylish and classy. The strap is leather and needs time to shape into wrist curve. But overall not s problem. The face size is also perfect for me, as I am quite thin I was concerned if it is too large. If you're hesitating, just buy it. You won't regret it.

    A dream watch for very little money. Superb model ,lightweight ,high quality from Seiko . This design of Seiko is on the market for almost 40 years . "Solar" rechargeable is newer . If you like classic watches ,this is a must !

    Seiko Sup 880 is the best Tank

    This Seiko tank watch has an internal minute track (like the Cartier) so that the minutes can be read accurately. The minute hand moves every 20 seconds, so you know it is running. Looks great, is comfortable, easy to read, low maintenance.
