    A good replacement for a technophobe.

    It is exactly the same as my old one which died therefore I am used to it which is important to me ,being an old lady technophobe. I do very little printing and the previous model was simple to use so I expect this one to be the same. It was easy to assemble and not too difficult to insert my new ink cartridges, though I had to get on my knees to see what I was doing. My only criticism is that the ink cartridges cost more than the printer from my local shop, but I shall look on line in the hope of a better bargain next time. Fortunately they seem to last me for about a year or so.

    It was easily set up with a CD-ROM and test printouts were produced without a problem. After that any printouts of items stored on my computer were met with an analysis that there was a faulty connection to this printer. Even after buying a new connection the same problem was flagged up. I have now reconnected my old printer and have offered this one to my partners 'Women's Institute' group to use as a photocopier because it will only function like that, but not in conjunction with a computer.

    Excellent Printer/Scanner

    Got this to replace one that broke. It is a low cost, but effective printer/scanner for written documents, and is straightforward to use. This one came with cartridges too. But you do need a PC-Printer cable, which is not included. Have not used it for photos. That said, it is an excellent buy.
