    Barely vibrated

    This collar did not have a strong vibrating action- holding it myself, even the highest setting was barely noticeable. If you have a very sensitive dog without a thick coat, this might work. I have a golden retriever whose brain turns off when he's excited, and this proved to be ineffective at signaling him not to jump on people. That said, I appreciate that PetSafe re-sells these used units at such a large discount. They accepted my return no problem, and even paid for the shipping. So there's not much risk if you just want to try it.

    Dog Training Collar

    Am using it to train my deaf dog to look at and come to me when at the dog park. It vibrates only, so no pain is involved. We are in the beginning stages but am hopeful it will keep him out of danger when we are away from home. The only down side of the tool is the size of the unit and the one size fits all plastic collar. It has many intensity settings so that you can determine the sensitivity of your dog to the vibration. Only product on the market with vibration only.

    Faulty product

    Now I know why this product was discontinued. The vibration is really faint, to the point of non-existant. Also it would lose it's charge only after a few minutes. A complete waste of money unfortunately. :-(
