    Great movie for kids as well as adults

    This disc set contains the best of both world; with both a Blu-Ray and DVD discs. The movie combines lots of humor with some subtle serious issues that most adults would notice (lifelong plans, death of spouse, elderly issues, dead beat dad, personal pledges, etc....). I also liked the extra features, especially the one about the writers visiting Tepuis Mountains of South America and Doug's short animated film which does tie into the film. This movie is one of my favorites and it is great to have it now a Blu-ray. If you like movies with some dead thought involved; you will not be disappointed. Just don't get distracted if someone yells "squirrel!"

    I love the talking dog!

    My favorite line is when the boy says "but it's a talking dog ". I bought this because my Autistic grandson wore out my DVD version. I wanted him to be able to enjoy the movie for a while. It is a great movie and my grandson wanted a cane to match the lead character. He was six years old at the time. There is something magical about the balloons and the house that just got to the heart and the talking dog:).

    Great Value

    Great cartoon to watch and keep all family members interested. I only had one issue where it froze on me during one of the bonuses to watch. Could not do anything with it or the player until I unplugged the player. Then all was fine again. Just a fluke (??)

    4 year old girl and 5 year old sons favorite movie
