That said, I didn't notice until it was too late that, as the item's location was in Jersey, that I would need to pay VAT, in addition to the listing price. 30 minutes after the purchase, I requested to cancel the transaction, as I could have bought it cheaper elsewhere and 11 hours later the request was denied as it had already been dispatched
