    Love this little beast

    Only just started and still finding more and more variations on how to use this little beast. The drum sounds are excellent and the various settings allow a huge variety of crum beats and sounds. I've used the scratch method and calibration but tend to use the direct buttons a bit more when setting up a beat. I've only scratched the surface and looking forward to mastering the machine with more use. All in all, I'm very impressed. One thing I'd love to see is a digital display of the Tempo setting.

    Capable drum machine, but not user friendly.

    I spent a few days playing with it, but I could not get a rhythm that was natural or easy to set up. I am not a drummer, so I can't hit the little thumb pads to make the beat. I think I will sell this and get a regular drum machine.

    Great little drum machine!

    Really great drum machine if you want something that's fairly quick and easy to get up and running. The samples are good, it has plenty of right hand rhythmic variation and grooves available via a rotary knob, and the ability to select alternate sounds (hat/ride/floor tom), (snare/cross-stick/tambourine) is really handy. The auto-generated chorus is also quite useful, especially if you want to create your drum parts on the fly. There is a bit of a learning curve, particularly if you want to utilize more than just its basic features, but it's worth diving into the manual to learn all that the SDRUM is capable of. I also recommend utilizing the optional foot switch in order to access its additional capabilities.
