    TECH 21 FLY RIG is a Keeper!

    I go to a lot of open Jams and have been downsizing my rig to make it more portable. I have a great (Huge) pedal board that I love, but it's just one more thing to lug around, set up and tear down. I saw the Fly Rig and thought it could be the answer. I'm pleased to report that my Fly Rig now takes the place of my pedal board whenever I play out. With Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Drive, Plexi-Drive and Boost, this puppy gives me all the sounds I need. It's small. light weight and portable, so no complaints what-so-ever. I've spent a fortune on various pedals over the years. I have at least 30 and they are all sitting idle while my Fly Rig does the job. I would say this is the best money I have spent on musical equipment in a long time, I guess if there is one complaint, it is that the ...

    Great sounding compact simple multi effect

    I bought and have made good use of the RK5 after initially comparing with this FlyRig 5. Reference my review on the RK5 if you like. My reservations on these units still hold, reverb should be separately switchable and wish there was an insert point between the distortion/gain and reverb/delay. I really liked the sounds of the RK5 better, which is why I bought it in the first place. But I still wanted to try this one after getting to know the RK5. For my style and setup, I still like the overdrive in the RK5 a lot better. The Plexi in this FR5 is ok but I'm just not able to eq it as easily, I have to turn the tone on it pretty far down and then it has too bassy of an overall sound. I will say however that the SansAmp in the FR5 is somewhat more transparent and easier to match to the ...

    Made my guitar sound amazing

    This pedal fixed all the tone issues I was having with my Guild T-50 Slim! I've also ran a semi-hollow Epiphone through it and had great results. It's really everything you need all in one pedal. Great controls over all the effect parameters!
