    A beautiful classic lol!

    Ahhh... Good old Speed Racer. I was watching it on a subscription streaming service until just recently and now I’m rewatching it on blue-ray and the animation has been cleaned up so much. The sound is still untouched, a shame I think but at the same time it’s a good thing. The box set is nice looking and looks great with its shinny silver and other shinny parts. The show really is a great one for fans of older anime and people who want a good laugh! Check out the movie too, faithful enough that it’s a must have for this set!

    Go Speed Go!

    If you're like me you remember watching Speed Racer as a kid. I've been waiting for this complete collection to come out for some time now. Here it is in all it's glory and with Blu-ray quality. This was my first introduction into what later would become known as Japanese Anime. When I was 6 or 7 watching this I didn't even know this was made in Japan. I just loved racing. By today's standard of anime quality this may look a little dated, but you have to remember we had never seen anything like this back in the late 60s and early 70s. This collection gives it to you the way you remember it and that's what you want. If it comes across as dated you don't get it. Move on. But if you're a fan from way back then this is the collection for you. Enjoy!

    A True Classic

    Speed Racer is clearly dated; from the fast talking to the car crashes that explode from mere fender benders, but it's endearing and holds its value. As someone who grew up with Speed Racer and as one who has always loved racing, cars, etc. (accomplished NFS driver) I could not pass up this opportunity to not only have the complete series at a great price, but on crystal clear blu ray. I'd say it's worth every penny, if not double!

    Go Speed Racer. GO!!!

    If you watched this as a kid, you will LOVE it on Blu-Ray. This is a great series, I was a kid of the 70s snd used to run home from school to catch this show. Now my son (who is 12) is seeing the show fresh for the first time. Between not seeing it for 40 years plus the Blu-Ray enhancement, the episodes even feel fresh to me. If you've been thinkin' about, just get it. No regrets at all....

    Speed Racer!

    I love this! I actually just finished watching the whole series last night... it is so nice to have all of the shows in one set.. and it is as I remembered. ...engaging. ...and I see where the Fast and the Furious franchise got some of their moves! I will always enjoy the original Speed Racer for all of my lifetime, as I did as a child.
