In einem Anhang kann sich der Leser daruber hinaus uber die im Text erwahnten Hormonbestimmungen und Funktionstests genauestens informieren. Gerichtet ist dieses Buch an alle Arzte, die nicht taglich mit endokrinologischen Erkrankungen zu tun, die aber solche dennoch immer wieder differentialdiagnostisch auszuschliessen haben. Daruber hinaus richtet sich das Buch an den fortgeschrittenen Medizinstudenten, der auch auf dem Gebiet der Endokrinologie versuchen muss, entsprechendes Grundlagenwissen mit dessen klinischer Relevanz in Einklang zu bringen.
